How important is it to use stakes in every stake loop? Can I skip any?

All of our tents operate on a tension-based system. This design is what gives Kodiak Canvas tents the strength to withstand wind, rain, and other outdoor elements while staying upright and secure.

For the system to work as intended, the tent must be fully staked out through every loop, and the guy lines must be used and properly tensioned. When any loops or lines are left un-staked, the stress that should be distributed evenly across the tent fabric and frame ends up concentrated in fewer areas. This can lead to unnecessary strain, poor performance in weather, or even damage such as seam failure or tears.

By staking every loop and using the guy lines, you ensure that:
