Regarding stove installation: While we’re aware that many customers have added wood-burning stoves to their Flex-Bow tents (and there are even YouTube videos demonstrating how), we don’t recommend it. We’ve explored the idea of offering a “stove-ready” Flex-Bow model but ultimately decided against it for several important reasons.
The Flex-Bow design is made to flex with the wind, not stay rigid. A swaying tent could easily cause a hot stove pipe to shift or disconnect, posing a safety hazard. Additionally, the sloped sidewalls often require placing the stove in the middle of the tent, reducing usable living space. While it might sound appealing at first, most campers find this setup limiting and impractical.
We’ve also seen several small wood-burning stoves entering the market. While some may work in emergency situations, they typically require constant feeding with small sticks and tinder, providing limited heat, making them less ideal for comfortable, regular camping use.
If you're looking for a tent that safely accommodates a stove, we do offer three stove-ready models specifically designed for this purpose. These are available in 10x10, 12x12, and 12x16 sizes.
